We are in the field against child marriages in Van too! We make door-to-door visits and explain the harmful effects of this practice with health mediators, some of whom are only 19 like Helin and some were married off at a childhood age and now work to end child marriages so that others do not experience what they went through. Hand in hand with tradespeople, neighborhood chiefs, and public officials, we reach out to girls and parents to end this harmful practice.
