UNFPA Turkey continues to work for the prevention of child marriage across the country. In this scope, we reach out to girls who are at risk of being married at a young age, young women who got married at a childhood age, and young men and fathers through household visits with our health mediators who are selected local people including women who also got married at a child age. We explain the health risks and negative consequences of child marriages.
