Job Summary:
The Programme Analyst, Adolescent & Youth assists in the analysis and assessment of relevant political, social and economic trends, guiding and facilitating the delivery of UNFPA’s programmes.
You will support the effective management of UNFPA activities in the adolescent and youth field in terms of policy development, capacity development and knowledge management. Through analysis and assessment of political, social and economic trends, you will contribute to project formulation and evaluation, joint programming initiatives and national development frameworks.
You will assist in monitoring results achieved during implementation, guiding the appropriate application of systems and procedures, and developing enhancements as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Advanced degree in Psychology, Psychological Counseling & Guidance, Child Development, Social Sciences and/or related fields with specialized knowledge on adolescent and youth health.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Up to two years professional experience on adolescents and youth, youth empowerment, SRH and/or child development with experience in programme/project implementation.
- Experience using office software packages and web-based management systems.
- Experience in working in development of education and capacity building programmes/toolkits materials for services providers is an asset.
- Experience in training service providers, including education professionals on adolescent health and CEFM is an asset.
- Experience youth empowerment activities (developing adolescent health and development modules in a CEFM specific approach, peer trainings, online mentorships, etc.) and advocacy campaigns is an asset.
- Experience in working with national and local authorities and NGOs is an asset.
- Experience in working with international organizations is an asset.
- Experience in working in the area of mental health and psychosocial support is an asset.
Languages:
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Turkish is required
